Denim Fit
Denim Guide
Jeans/Pants Method:
Make sure to use a pair of jeans that fit well, to your liking.
Compare the measurements to the size charts available on each product page.
*This method gives you an estimate of your body measurements*
Waist:
At the waistline, pull denim tight to lay flat, so the front and rear line up. Placing your tape measure at one edge of the waist band, hold the denim and measure straight across. Multiply this number by 2 to get your waist measurement.
Rise:
Now place your tape measure at the crotch seam. Holding the denim and tape measure tight, measure up to the top of the waistline.
Thigh:
Next, place your tape measure at the crotch seam again, this time measure across the leg at a 90 degree angle to the edge outseam.
Knee:
To measure the knee, first from the same point, measure at the crotch seam down along the inseam 13”. From this new point measure a 90 degree angle straight across to the outseam edge.
Inseam:
Pull the leg straight, laying flat, measure from the crotch seam again down to the end of the leg opening hem. Most inseams we sell come long, designed to be rolled or tailored.
Leg Opening:
Lastly, measure straight across the bottom hem of the leg, making sure there are no kinks or folds and the denim is flat.
